For this tutorial I wanted to show demonstrate to use a tool in illustrator that I personally found very useful. I decided to go with a jack-o-lantern because they're slightly complex yet easily recognizable. I included the color background shapes to give the effect of the jack-o-lantern appearing lit or unlit.
